Websites for small businesses in Hampton, NH

Hampton sits on the New Hampshire Seacoast, about 5 miles from our office in Stratham. Before we call or walk into a business, we check how it shows up online. Here is what that looked like in Hampton.

What we found in Hampton

In October 2026 we looked up 128 Hampton businesses on Google Maps. The biggest groups were restaurants (19), insurance agencies (12) and salons (9).

128Hampton businesses we looked up
26/128no website, or only a social page
1/53website links on Google that go nowhere
6/23appointment businesses with no online booking

23 of the working sites belonged to appointment businesses (nail salons, yoga studios and groomers). 6 of them had no way to book online, so every appointment means a phone call during business hours.

25 had no website on their Google listing at all, and 1 more only linked to a Facebook or Instagram page. Someone searching on a phone gets a phone number and not much else.

2 of the 52 working sites weren't set up for phones, so the text shows up tiny and people pinch to zoom.

Of the 53 websites we opened, 1 were dead, including 1 that landed on a parked domain or an expired-site page. Google still lists those businesses as open, but the link sends people nowhere.

Auto shops were the group most often missing a real website: 6 of the 9 we looked up had none, or only a social page.

How we counted: businesses we found on Google Maps in October 2026 while looking for salons, barbers, auto shops, trades, gyms, groomers and similar local businesses. Chains and medical offices are left out. A "dead" link means the website on the Google listing didn't load, showed an error or showed a parked page when we opened it. We don't name anyone, and the numbers are a snapshot.
