Websites for small businesses in Manchester, NH

In October 2026 we looked up 279 Manchester businesses on Google Maps. The biggest groups were auto shops (31), barber shops (26) and salons (21).

99 of the working sites belonged to appointment businesses (auto shops, salons and gyms). 18 of them had no way to book online, so every appointment means a phone call during business hours.

48 had no website on their Google listing at all, and 2 more only linked to a Facebook or Instagram page. Someone searching on a phone gets a phone number and not much else. That is less than the 23% we saw across all 34 towns we checked.

We opened 174 of the websites listed on Google. 9 went nowhere: the page didn't load or showed an error, including 4 that landed on a parked domain or an expired-site page. Anyone who taps one of those links gets nothing.

2 of the 165 working sites weren't set up for phones, so the text shows up tiny and people pinch to zoom.

Groomers were the group most often missing a real website: 7 of the 9 we looked up had none, or only a social page.
